It’s been a rough month as far as motherhood goes.
There have been more days that I feel like I’ve failed than not.
But there have been some really, really good moments.
Like this one, when I was playing with the baby.
He loves being in the air.

I remember how much my kids loved being in the air when they were babies! And they still love it! diving boards, snow boarding, roller coasters, LOL! I hope there are brighter days ahead for you….those parenting rough patches can be tricky….the guilt always gets me, too.

there’s always going to be not-so-good-trying-moments, right? i’m so glad that thee’s great moments like these that make it all worth it.
i’ve got no pic for the link up because i had my best moment last night.
i was feeling awful, migraine, fever. i was freezing. natasha came into the bedroom and said “mom what’s wrong? u sick now? i said yes and she’s screamed, daddy! damian! mommy’s sick! the two came running into the bedroom. natasha says daddy, you bring medicine for mommy and damian you bring blankie for mommy. hubby asks if i want mortrin, i mumble yes, he heads to the kitchen, damian drags my blanket over and natasha tucks me in.
the migraine was worth it.
i love this pic girl. i’m so happy that you keep this blog with all these wonderful memories. i love it here

I love this.
This photo is like peeking in from out here, from the window, from across the street from an ivy covered wrought iron balcony.
These words are tiny gems strung together and hanging Honesty in front of all of us, because this is what is Is.
It is good and bad, too much and not enough, it is “I got this” and ” I need help”.
It is “am I doing the right thing?” covered with a sprinkling of “who the fuck cares”
This post is a reminder that at the end of the day, we will most remember are the way their eyes giggled from up in the air, how their smile was wider than an ocean, how that Joy was too big to fit into our Heart. Or so we thought.

Motherhood has been rough on me this last week or so. Lil’ Bit is in a major “Daddy phase” and I feel neither respected nor very loved right about now. And then I lost my temper with her last night AND again this morning, which only added a massive dollop of guilt to my already humongous piece of pity pie.
So. I’m trying to hold onto the good moments, and will continue to do so. Because I have a feeling 3 is gonna be one helluva ride.
