The baby and I have been spending a lot of one-on-one time together.
The toddler has been staying with his grandparents for over a week now (that’s a blog post on its own – suffice to say, he is there on his own accord and they love having him there).
I feel a little guilty for having it so easy. Like it should be hard. Like I should be juggling two kids.
But it is what it is. As long as both children are healthy and happy right?
So this is what one-on-one time has been like with the small one (who hasn’t enjoyed this level of attention since he was born).
There has been play.
There was some finger chomping.
And, more chomping.
There was a lot of rolling from back to front.
There were a lot of just hanging out, taking pictures.
And we did go hang out with the big boy.
A lot of one-on-one. For that, I am grateful.
All photos were taken with my phone, from my Instagr.am feed (are you following me there?), hence linking up with Julie and Greta for #IPPP!
He seems like such a peaceful, laid back guy. Lucky you!
Julie ‘s last awesome post..The nostalgia of clean sheets #iPPP
He is pretty laid back. Except when he’s tired, then Mr Cranky Pants makes an appearance.
He is soooo adorable!!! Enjoy this special time together. I used to love having one-on-one time with my youngest daughter as it didn’t happen a lot. When she got a little older I realized how important it was for her too as she had my full attention and didn’t have to compete with her older sister.

I think you should just feed the kid or else I’ll call CFS on you or whatever the Malaysian equivalent is…OR you could send him to me while the big boy are at the folks, so you can have some much needed “You” time, and I can chomp on those cute little itty bitty baby toes….oh goodness Alison, I swear, everytime I come here, I get off the computer and beg my husband for another baby! Unfortunately, my husband is usually asleep on the couch, and thus unavailable for coitus…TMI? Well, it’s not like I said vagina, right.

Janice ‘s last awesome post..My World Is Spinning. And It’s Not Because I’m In Love.
Yes, it is a blessing! I know, right, teething and rolling over. He’s developing much quicker than his big brother did too.
I just did the one on one thing over the past two weeks before school started. I kept one of my daughters for around 36 hours to myself while my parents had the other one and then we switched the next week. It gave us some time to talk, shop for back to school clothes and not have them bickering and my parents really enjoyed it too.
Don’t feel guilty. Enjoy the alone time when you can get it with either of your boys!

I look forward to hearing the story of why your toddler is at his grandparents’ house. But WHAT a blessing that must be! To everyone! Big boy gets dedicated time with his grandparents, where I’m sure they are spoiling him, and baby gets dedicated time with you – which is hard to come by when you are juggling two kids.
I can tell from the pics you both are having a beautiful time together!
Oh yes they ARE spoiling the toddler! The story is just this – he gets spoiled there. He gets 100% attention from TWO people. To him, it’s probably a no-brainer. I will just consider it a gift from him.
it’s so nice having alone time with only one….
there are times when either my boys are gone or Eric stays home with a couple and I take a couple and I swear, I’m practically skipping! It’s so much easier without all of them, and whoever I have can talk my ear off without being interrupted…..everyone enjoys it!
