Much has changed in 6 weeks.
New laptop (I love this MacBook Air!) because someone screwed up my Dell’s keyboard. I’m not naming names but he’s about 3 feet tall….
Same sofa, different spot. Now I’m nearly 7 months pregnant, I need a more comfortable spot with better back support.
Yes, I’m hairier. Like my new look? (The husband set this shot up while I was putting the toddler to bed. Yes, we’re a fun household!)

Your blogging spot (from the previous post) looks so comfy! I recently re-arranged my family room to include a desk where I could do my blogging. It’s all pretty and Pottery Barn-like and is set against a window with a beautiful view of the field behind our house, but the chair I’m using is just so damn uncomfortable! It’s one of my dining room chairs and I’m just using it until I can afford to buy a new one. But I’ve quickly learned that comfort (and seating) can make or break even the most serene writing spots.

Oh yes, comfort is key. I loved my previous spot (also because it was easy for me to get on and off) but my back was killing me. Hence the new spot! I hope you get an awesome new chair soon.

I used to sit at the dining table at our old place – we don’t even have a dining set right now!

I wouldn’t go so far as to say I’m a ‘convert’ though I’m kinda in love with the Mac Air right now. I can still use a PC though (I keep saying that to my husband who teases me about being “one of those Mac snobs”)!
Ugh, my Dell recently bit the dust too! I would desperately love to upgrade to a Mac Book, but that just won’t happen. Congratulations!

Thank you! I was lucky – the husband had the Macbook Air lying around unused. He had bought it for work, but found that he wasn’t really using it.

I’m giggling b/c my husband does this, sit random dolls in places that’ll give me start upon entering a room. Some of them are already possessed anyway, singing or talking when we walk by. Um, look here voodoo dolls, I’ma need y’all to take the crazy someplace else; I’ve got enough already.
My Dell is about to die. I feel it telling me as it moves slower and slower that our time together is short. Thing is — I can’t afford to buy a new one anytime soon so I need laptop life support.
Ack, sorry about the dying laptop. Mine was dying for a while before the keyboard conked out and the husband finally said, here, use the MacBook that’s been lying around unused (yee haw).
My husband and I are now putting the lion in various positions around the house – next stop, his truck. Muahahaha.

It’s easy for me because I’ve been using Macs off and on for the past few years!
Adorable! You look adorable, too! I’m glad you like your MAC Book air. I still have the clunky lap top, but it’s loaded up and souped up to the gills! However, I do so much photo editing, that next year, I’m gonna have to get a big screen (we won’t mention my poor, tired, OLD eyes!)

I love it! It’s an easy transition for me as I’ve been using Macs and Apple products off and on over the past few years. Plus, there are some tricks you can learn that will make using a Mac ALMOST similar to a PC. You’ll get used to it very quickly!
And yes, it does feel like a long time since I found out about pregnancy #2! But I know the last few weeks will just rush by.

Oh, does that look comfy! We recently got a (lightly) padded swivel office-y chair from Ikea, which is a major upgrade from the hard and uncomfortable wooden chair we had been using as our desk chair.
